About Greg Bondar

Greg Bondar, MBA (UNE), MEd (UNSW), BEc (USYD), serves as the NSW State Director of FamilyVoice Australia.

Greg is a Lay Preacher, an Accredited Chaplain (Chaplaincy Australia) and an Apologist. He worships at his local Anglican Church in the southern suburbs of Sydney and is on the Steering Committees of Men for Christ Ministries and on the Board of Mission to Seafarers. He also heads up various Men’s Ministries, consults to churches on governance, conflict resolution and is Guest Speaker at churches and events Australia-wide. He has completed numerous courses at various biblical institutions including various short courses at Moore Theological College.

Greg was formerly the Federal and NSW State Director for the Christian Democratic Party of Australia (Fred Nile Group) where he oversaw the 2016 federal elections and various by-elections. He was also a Senior Adviser to the Minister for Transport and Regional Development in the first term of the Howard Government. Greg was also Deputy Mayor at Georges River Council (then Kogarah Council) in the southern suburbs of Sydney.

The issues currently before Greg revolve around Religious Freedom, SRE (Special Religious Education) in Schools, Freedom of Speech, Euthanasia, Abortion, Conversion Therapy and the relationship between Church and State.

Greg works closely with Churches and Christian organisations and is a regular Speaker at various events and Churches.

Greg’s Media Background

Greg currently has a regular segment on Christian Vision Radio with Neil Johnson.

Greg had worked with both the print and electronic media and has appeared on radio, national TV (SBS, Ch7&9, ABC) and written articles for mainstream media publications including The Australian, AFR, The Spectator and various regional newspapers. Greg was also part of the media team as Senior Adviser to a federal Government Minister in the first term of the Howard Government writing and issuing Press Releases, briefing Journalists and holding Press Conferences. He has undertaken Media Training and has an MBA from (UNE) where is co-majored in Communications.
